Intentional Partnerships

Partnering with Black leaders in Chicago

In 2020, we committed to learning from and investing more deeply in Black-led ministries in Chicago, recognizing both historical inequities and the leadership already present in these communities.

Through these partnerships, we witness the hardships that have persisted through generations as well as those that arise from shifting cultural and political pressures. In the midst of those difficult seasons, we encounter stories of transformation and hope. We are privileged to join in God’s work of reconciliation as our partnerships more closely reflect His Kingdom, where every tribe and tongue is represented (Revelation 7:9).

Leaning into the guidance of the Spirit, we are especially drawn to South and West side communities, in solidarity with a diverse group of partners who serve each day with compassion and resilience. Within this broad fellowship, we maintain a specific, intentional commitment to elevating Black leaders, recognizing that honoring their leadership is essential to addressing historical inequities and reflecting the fullness of the Body. We remain committed to learning, growing, and loving our neighbors more faithfully in the years ahead.

Indigenous-Led Ministries in Africa, SE Asia and Central America

We believe lasting Kingdom impact is strongest when it is led from within. Indigenous-led ministries internationally are guided by leaders who know their communities’ languages, cultures, challenges, and strengths firsthand. Their proximity fosters trust, accountability, and solutions that are both spiritually grounded and culturally wise.

Funding indigenous leadership promotes partnership in the global Church. Rather than imposing outside agendas, we come alongside what God is already doing through local leaders, strengthening their capacity and honoring their authority.

This approach also promotes sustainability. Locally led ministries are positioned for long-term impact because they are rooted in community relationships and invested in generational transformation. By resourcing indigenous leaders, we participate in a model of mutuality, humility, and enduring Gospel witness.

Parachurch Ministries

The church has always been called to speak truth into the age it inhabits. We believe parachurch organizations are uniquely positioned to create biblically grounded content that equips the global church to engage the challenges of our day.

By investing in these partners, we are funding more than resources; we are fueling a movement of renewal that calls the church back to theological faithfulness and emboldens believers to speak and live with courageous love.
